0Established in Hong Kong in March 1974. Nordica International Limited was the first of the Nordica group of companies ("Nordica") and is now the holding company for Nordica Printing Company Limited (Hong Kong based) and Nordica Printing Company (Guangzhou) Limited (China based).Nordicas major business is in the printing industry, principally in the printing of books for overseas customers. During the last 20 years, Nordica has continued to increase capacity and capabilities through the purchase of state-of-the-art printing and binding equipment to facilitate its expansion, which is supported by its customers, suppliers, business associates and the financial community.

0In order to take advantage of the lower labour and other production costs available in the People's Republic of China ("PRC"), Nordica began its exploration into the PRC in 1992. After 2 years of intensive research and deliberations, Nordica eventually chose Man Sang Industrial Area in the Lanhe Town of Nansha Municipality in Guangdong Province to be its base in the PRC. Nordica Printing Company (Guangzhou) Limited ("NPC Guangzhou") was established in the PRC in 1994 and the installation of plant and machinery was completed in August 1996, upon which the factory began full production. NPCL maintains its head office in Hong Kong, acting as the principal support hub for overseas sales and customer service. NPC Guangzhou is a wholly foreign-owned investment enterprise under NPCL. NPC Guangzhou occupies 42,500 square meters of land. The total gross floor area of the factory buildings built thereon is approximately 18,000 square meters, with expansion planned to 30,000 square meters.

At present, there are more than 500 workers and staff working in NPC Guangzhou, including over 20 managers and senior technicians from Hong Kong. 0Through continuous improvement, Nordica owns the most technologically advanced printing and binding equipment allowing it to provide one-stop, complete printing and binding services including CTP, offset printing up to 8/C, multiple forms of? binding, UV coating, lamination, along with die cutting, folding, hole punching, foiling and shrink wrapping. Nordica has expanded its capability to provide packaging and handicraft production to meet the needs of its customers. Nordica has the capability to print and bind large volumes for publishers of Dictionaries, Textbooks, Technical books, Tourist books, Medical books, Commercial magazines, Maps, Calendars, Children books, Posters, Brochures, Christmas cards and other paper products.
